The effect of ploughing on buried remains has long been of concern to archaeologists, as documented in English Heritage's publication, 'Ripping up History', and has been the subject of much recent debate. This paper examines a very specific case of plough damage in response to severely truncated archaeological features witnessed during recent fieldwork near the Thornborough Henges in North Yorkshire. |

Monitoring on the Effects of Ploughing on Archaeological Remains' This paper follows on from the previous paper, and describes the results of a further experiment in which two additional test pits were established at Ladybridge Farm to monitor any potential ongoing plough damage to the sub surface features. |
