GIS/Interactive Map

    This will allow the presentation of site plans, fieldwalking distribution plots, geophysical data, cropmarks etc.
    Features are linked directly to raw context data, investigations to site reports etc.

Reports

  • Reports Database
    A database of site & technical reports is being prepared.
    Currently a simple search of these reports is possible using the search box at the top of each page. Search within Keywords to produce a narrow result set, or Full Text to find every instance of your search term.

    Detailed search facility.

Site Databases

The site database tables (MySQL) are currently being developed, but can be searched by choosing "search site data" from the navigation bar on any Thornborough page.

  • Context Database (in prep)
    Search for contexts/features based on type, interpretation, date etc.
  • Groups Database (in prep)
    Search groups of associated contexts by date and interpretation.
  • Photographic Database (in prep)
    Search the entire photographic archive.
  • Finds Database (in prep)
    Search the entire finds catalogue by find type, date etc.
